FACETTES STUDIO

Facettes Studio is a women's wardrobe of essentials, designed by Marie-Laure Dumon and made in Paris.

The name is inspired by the disco ball. Marie-Laure, a disco enthusiast, saw this word grow with the brand: the "facets" (facettes) are those of the women who inspire her, and those of a jacket that goes from the office to dinner, and then to the end of the night.

Before founding the brand, she wrote her master's thesis on "Made in France," at a time when no one was interested in the subject. A six-month internship in New York turned into six years.

Ten years in fashion later, she returned to Paris to found Facettes Studio: jackets, vests, and tailored trousers are cut from dormant stocks of major French and Italian luxury houses. Never any polyester or polyamide. The buttons, handmade in Paris, are also covered with reused fabric. The series are limited: that's the rule of the game when the material already has a story.

GAOPÉ chose Facettes Studio for its reused luxury materials and its Parisian manufacturing down to the smallest button. Essentials that can be worn from morning until late at night.
