MARTAUD is a unisex outdoor wardrobe, founded in 2024 by Maud Martin.

It all began in 2014, in London. A young au pair after her fashion studies, Maud made herself a coat with large inside pockets, big enough to slip in everything she usually carried in her bag. Ten years of children's fashion styling in Paris later, she founded the brand she couldn't find anywhere: her own.

The clothes are made in Poland, the accessories in France. The trench coats are cut from a certified organic cotton water-repellent gabardine, woven in Italy, and lined with a French plaid fabric from dead stock, which is also used for the accessories. From fabrics to buttons to labels, everything comes from French or European suppliers.

GAOPÉ chose MARTAUD for its trench coats with large pockets and its European manufacturing down to the smallest detail. Pieces that transcend seasons and are passed down from generation to generation.
