Before first use:
Don't wait until your sneakers are dirty to take care of them. As soon as you receive them, it is essential to protect them.
For smooth leathers: Apply a nourishing lotion to moisturize the material and prevent cracks related to time. Let it sit for at least 12 hours (ideally overnight), then polish with a clean, dry cloth.
For suede and nubuck leathers: Waterproof your sneakers evenly before any use.
Let them dry for a few hours.
When not wearing them, remember to insert shoe trees inside: this will help your sneakers maintain their natural shape.
For recycled canvas: Waterproof your sneakers with a protective spray suitable for textiles before their first use. This will limit the penetration of stains and moisture into the fibers. Let them dry completely, in a ventilated area, before wearing them. When you're not wearing them, remember to insert shoe trees inside: this will help your sneakers maintain their natural shape.
Regular care:
Smooth leathers: Remove the laces. Dust off with a suitable brush to remove dirt and dust. After each use, a simple brushing prevents accumulation. Then apply a small amount of renovating cream to a chamois cloth. Massage the leather in circular motions to deeply nourish it. Let it dry for about 30 minutes. Well-maintained leather is long-lasting leather.
Suede and nubuck leathers: Remove the laces.
Brush carefully to remove impurities. For stains, use a special suede eraser, rubbing gently in both directions of the nap. Then spray a waterproofing agent evenly from about 30 cm away from the shoe. Let it dry for a few hours. Regularity is key: light but frequent maintenance significantly extends the lifespan of the pair.
Recycled canvas: Remove the laces. Gently brush the surface with a soft brush to remove dust and superficial dirt. For stains, dab with a slightly damp cloth and a mild soap, without rubbing to avoid altering the fibers. Rinse by dabbing with a clean, damp cloth to remove any soap residue. Let them air dry, away from any direct heat source. Once dry, reapply a light coat of waterproofing agent to renew protection. Treating your recycled canvas gently preserves both its appearance and the integrity of its fibers.
